I’m young, in debt, and should really go get a full time job… But I decided to start a blog.
You may be asking, “Is that such a good idea?”
My answer: I sure hope so.
I am fully relying on my writing skills, knowledge of the internet, and a few faithful followers.
This idea was birthed from my passion for travel, mixed with my intense desire to become my own boss very early on in my life.
I want to surround myself with big thinkers. People with an entrepreneurial mindset. There’s nothing wrong with the ordinary 9-5 career. But it’s just that: ordinary.
I’m scared of ordinary.
Untapped potential is my greatest fear. Hence why I’m diving right in.
This blog is for those likeminded few. The ones who can’t seem to fathom being tied down to one job for the rest of their lives. The ones who are constantly in motion.
The people who love to travel, discover new passions, and work on themselves, for themselves.
The new mom looking for a way make some side cash from her phone while raising her children.
The broke, but motivated, college student who just created a new app for his graduating class to keep in touch.
The middle-aged employee wondering what it would be like to start their own business.
This blog goes out to those people.

My name is Cassady Rapp Cleary. I am the founder of this shiny new blog, “Enlighted Escape.”
As of July 2021, I am 23 years young, recent college grad, newly wed. Lover of all things nature, wellness, and travel. Hater of all things cubicle and concrete.
